Highpoint provided Rock Development, LLC land surveying, planning, civil engineering, and permitting support for the development of a 19,000 sf, multifamily condominium/ apartment development on the waterfront in East Boston. The project required coordination and approvals from multiple public agencies, including Chapter 91, Boston Conservation Commission (NOI), Boston Water and Sewer (Site Plan Approval) and Zoning Board of Appeals (Special Permit) approvals. Located on the East Boston waterfront and adjacent to large DCR recreational area, Highpoint worked with the project team to develop a design that provided climate change resiliency measures and accommodated public access. A 22-space, partially underground parking structure was part of the project. Highpoint Engineering provided the design of new resilient utilities, stormwater management features, and the site design of a new harborwalk along the coastal bank that was an integral part of the project.
