The Devens Regional Enterprise Zone was established in 1993 by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts under the Fort Devens – U.S. Army Garrison Base Closure Plan. The master planned enterprise zone established a new roadway and utility infrastructure network to promote a mix of new, private development including life sciences, manufacturing, industrial, office, institutional, and residential uses. While Highpoint has been retained to be the prime engineer responsible for planning, design, and permitting of a master planned, biotechnology campus consisting of five-buildings totaling 680,000± gsf and developed on 44 acres within the Devens Innovation/Technology District, we also had the opportunity to assist Electric Hydrogen with their specific Tenant Improvements project.
