101 Cambridgepark Drive is a proposed, 150,000± sf, multi-tenant office/laboratory building with ground-floor retail located in a highly visible, strategic, park setting in the Alewife area of Cambridge, and located on the same property as 87 Cambridgepark Drive, a fully operational laboratory/R&D building. This project involves floodplain displacement and compensatory flood storage, wholesale existing utility service relocation for 87 Cambridgepark Drive, multi-use path provisions to improve pedestrian and bicycle connectivity throughout the Triangle, Low-Impact-Design solutions for stormwater management, and the first and only below-grade parking garage in the Triangle Sub-District, among many others. In addition to full site civil design services, Highpoint continues to provide the client with local, state, and federal permitting efforts, including two separate Notice of Intent filings, 8(m) Permit coordination with the MWRA for work within their easement rights, multiple Special Permit filings, and assistance with securing an exclusive maintenance and use license for off-site, multiuse path improvements on MBTA property.
