This project consists of an existing 57,000± sf office building situated in an industrial park off the corner of Maguire Road and Hartwell Avenue in Lexington. The RMR Group acquired the building and is in the process of upgrading the site and building to attract multiple new life science tenants. Located on a 7.2-acre site bordered by Kiln Brook and its associated vegetative wetlands, renovations include the creation of an outdoor amenity space, improved pedestrian connection between parking lots and new vestibule building entrances, upgrades to existing drainage infrastructure, and improved visibility of the building from Maguire Road and Hartwell Avenue. Highpoint is providing civil engineering services to assist with building improvements including upgrades to the loading dock, new landscape treatments, new stormwater management bmps, utility improvements, and general site upgrades. Permitting services to entitle the improvement project with the municipality have also been key to the project’s success.
