Extensive rezoning efforts and multiple permits from local and state agencies were necessary to make this a successful project. Highpoint worked closely with all stakeholders both internal and municipal to expedite the project through the multiple phases of development. Panera Bread and two other retail supplementary uses were ultimately established. Permitting involved working with the Board of Zoning Appeals, the Planning Board, the Board of Health, two separate Peer Review consultants, the EPA and MADOT. Site work was performed both onsite and offsite for this project, including new utility connections to the public right-of-way.
