Red Mill Village is a qualified, active adult residential project that combines single-family homes and attached multifamily units in a traditional neighborhood design. It also includes a meeting house, pool, recreational area, and a community store. This project was being developed on the site of a former gravel pit. As such, the contour of the land was restored and intensive landscaping was used to create a traditional neighborhood setting. The design addressed the sensitive nature of the area by preserving over 20 acres of open space along the Canoe River, home to several rare and endangered species.
