Houston based McCord Development acquired an existing 64,800± sf Biomanufacturing and R&D facility on Bearfoot Road in Northborough, MA. The former Glaxo facility had not been occupied for a number of years and had formerly produced various vaccines during the 1990’s. This site is located in Northborough in Boston’s MetroWest Life Science Cluster, close to highway access and qualified workforce demographics. Planning services were provided to assess the functionality of a renovated and modernized facility within the existing footprint. Recognizing the importance of providing facilities that have the ability to expand, Highpoint provided future expansion options. Highpoint is also providing concept planning and consulting services to support the new project programming. Full services will include civil engineering, landscape design and permit expediting.
