The Devens Regional Enterprise Zone was established in 1993 by the State of Massachusetts under the Fort Devens – U.S. Army Garrison Base Closure Plan. The master planned enterprise zone established a new roadway and utility infrastructure network to promote a mix of new, private development including life sciences, manufacturing, industrial, office, institutional, and residential uses. Highpoint is the prime engineer responsible for planning, design, and permitting of a master planned, bio-technology campus consisting of five-buildings totaling 680,000± gsf and developed on 44 acres within the Devens Innovation/Technology District.
