CanalSide Commons was a 152-acre $100 million mixed use development consisting of residential, business, retail and recreational uses designed to be an environmentally-sustainable community. Conceived as a “New Urbanist” development, features included attractive streetscapes, inviting town squares, and sustainable design. This Cape Cod-style village comprises a mix of residential, retail, and office uses in a vital Town Center environment.
Integrated services included master planning, civil engineering and extensive permitting with local boards and departments, agencies including the Cape Cod Commission. Ultimately a comprehensive permit was achieved and permitted through the Cape Cod Commission as a DRI 40b residential community.
